Skin Deep & A Thousand Steps to Silence — Of Curious Nature

An evening of contemporary dance at the Can Ventosa Cultural Centre in Ibiza Town, performed by the German company Of Curious Nature. The programme pairs two works: "Skin Deep", choreographed by Helge Letonja, which treats the skin as the surface that connects us to our surroundings and reflects on human contact and the isolation caused by its absence; and "A Thousand Steps to Silence" by Tu Hoang, a piece about the tension between social life and the need for introspection, alternating restraint and expansion as the body searches for balance.
